Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Route 66 in style! On February 24, filmmaker John Paget comes to Sacramento to discuss his current film production highlighting the history and enduring legacy of Route 66. Paget will share insights from the making of Route 66: The Main Street of America, a new feature documentary he is currently shooting and directing, including selected clips from the film.

 

Designated an Official Project of the U.S. Route 66 Centennial Commission and slated for release in Fall 2026, the film explores the people, places, and stories that define America’s most iconic highway. An audience Q&A will follow the presentation. Don't miss it! Get your tickets before they're gone.

 

Doors for this event open at 4:30 p.m. for museum exploration, and the main program starts at 6 p.m. Appetizers will be served, and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $45 while they last.
