In 2026, we’re taking a trip down the Mother Road of memory lane!
Route 66: California Dreamin’ will be a celebration of all things Route 66, rolling through the many decades of history on the Main Street of America. This exhibit arrives just in time for the 100th anniversary of the route, and you can join in on this nationwide celebration!

As of August 2026, this exhibit has been transformed into Carburetor Corners!

There's an all-new group of vintage cars to meet, all with their own stories from along the Mother Road! There's even an interactive Trading Post, where you can trade a trinket or two. This updated version of the exhibit will be at the museum through the end of 2026.
