August 5th - Late October

Inspired by the book "Glamour Road" by

Jeff Stork and Tom Dolle

Following the end of World War II, the American automotive industry hired many designers and stylists from the fashion industry as automakers made a direct appeal to the rising sophistication and influence of women. Join us in exploring the seldom told story of how glamour, fashion, design, and styling became the main focus of
automotive marketing from the postwar 1940s through the 1960s.
