Join us every month on the first Saturday at 11 am for a special hands-on activity. Activities will range from taking rides in classic cars to hands-on fun with automotive art activities like pinstriping. If you've got a little sparkplug, they will love these monthly activities.

This activity is free with paid admission. Kids memberships are only $25, so you can come free to all the activities!
This month we are getting the kiddos hands-on with clay and teaching them how modern cars are designed first using this very same clay!

Come out to Free Museum Day on February 2, 2019. Admission to 24 museums across Sacramento will be free! We will have a special activity for families that come to Free Museum Day!

March 2 we will celebrate one of the most influential people in the history of the automobile! Bertha Benz is credited with taking the first ever road trip. Come learn how she improved the first Benz while on a road trip and see our Patent Benz replica drive!

On April 6, kids and adults alike will learn the art of pinstriping from professionals! Get hands-on and create your own pinstriped art!

May is Bike Month! We are encouraging guests to ride their bikes to the Museum to receive $2 off admission. Get hands-on with spokes and wheels to learn how the bicycle influenced the automobile!

In June we are hitting the loop with toy cars to learn how the loop-de-loop works! Kiddos are encouraged to bring out their favorite toy cars to test out on the track!

Welding is an essential part of building cars! On August 3, bring your imagination and to create a concept for your own welded artwork and watch a professional bring welded art to life!

Our friends over at the Front Street Animal Shelter are bringing over some animals for guests to adopt! We will also learn the best tips and tricks to traveling with your pets!

Join us for Sacramento's biggest car show and festival! We have a special kids zone at CruiseFest where we will have all kinds of fun activities planned for families on top of checking out the cars and live music.

Robots are a big part of how we assemble modern day cars. Come and learn all about robots and cars!

Jump on the assembly line and learn how Henery Ford revolutionized the way cars are produced. You will leave with your own paper Model T!
