Service Description
If you're looking for something more unusual for your event, a Franklin fits that description perfectly. Produced at a time when most automobile manufacturers used water-cooled engines, The H.H. Franklin Manufacturing Co. in New York built only air-cooled cars from 1902-1934. That factor gave Franklins unique and more-modern looking front grilles, further accentuated on this example by the front and rear suicide doors. Many prominent aviators such as Charles Lindbergh, Amelia Earhart, and Glenn Curtiss were Franklin owners. The car is in nice condition with only some minor signs of wear and is a new addition to our community outreach program. We love to share this car and its history with our community and hope you enjoy it as well! If you wish to use this car for a photoshoot at the museum instead of off-site, a discounted rate will be provided. If you wish to commercially publish photograph of our cars, approval must be granted prior to publication from the California Automobile Museum and additional fees will apply.
