Day Trip to the USS Potomac and USS Red Oak Victory in the Bay
June 24 @ 8:00 am - 6:00 pm$149 - $159
Join us as we hit the road for an early summer road trip to the bay!
We will be visiting the SS Red Oak Victory, which saw action in both World War II and the Korean War, and has now been restored to a Museum as part of the Rosie the Riveter Home Front National Historic Park in Richmond. We will also take a tour of the bay onboard the USS Potomac in Oakland, which throughout the 30s and 40s, was known as Franklin D Roosevelt’s “Floating White House”.
This trip includes round-trip charter bus transportation from the Museum. The bus will depart at 8:00 am and return around 6:00 pm, traffic permitting.
This trip is now full! However, we are taking names for a backup list in the event of cancellations. Please e-mail program operations director Adam Vargyas at firstname.lastname@example.org to get your name on the list
