(FULL) The California Automobile Museum’s 32nd Docent Training Class

January 4 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$99

Car and Museum lovers, get ready to go back to school in the best way possible!  The California Automobile Museum will commence its 32nd docent training class on Wednesday, January 4th, 2016.  Training will run for 20 weeks, finishing with docent graduation on Saturday, May 13th.

The docent training program is taught by 45 subject-matter experts in automotive history, who will acquaint the class with the Museum and teach the history of the automobile, the early industry, many of the world’s car makes, and the effect of the automobile on our lives and times.  Also included are field trips to other automotive museums.

The $99.00 fee covers the extensive course materials, two field trips to other Automotive Museums (The National Museum in Reno and the Blackhawk Automotive Museum in Danville) and a year’s membership in the Museum*

2017 docent training is now full!  We strongly encourage you to sign up early for docent training in 2018; registration typically begins by late October.

*Enrollment in the docent training class includes an Individual-level membership at the Museum.  Trainees can upgrade their membership if they wish.  Docent trainees who are already Museum members will have their membership expiration date moved forward one year.
