Students of the Docent program are acquainted with the Museum; the history of the automobile; the world automobile industry and its entrepreneurs; the cars in the Museum; the automobile’s influence on our lives; and how to interestingly present these topics to visitors of all ages.
The 30th session of the California Automobile Museum’s Docent Training Class begins on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, and continues each Wednesday through May 16, 2015. Please arrive at 5:30 pm for the first class on January 7.
Wednesday classes start promptly at 6:00 PM and usually end between 9:30 and 9:45 PM. This class includes two day trips to other Museums and a few weekend training sessions.
The fee for the course is only $99.00, which covers the cost of your training materials, your docent badge, and a one-year membership to the California Automobile Museum. Scholarships are available under special circumstances.
