Present: Germany 2012 – Cars & Castles
Let’s go to Germany! We’ll visit the Green Hell – the Nurburgring North Loop (Norsdschleife), stop at several castles, experience Porsche, Mercedes, and BMW museums and factories, see the Verkehrszentrum, and participate in Munich’s Oktoberfest.
The tour includes all ground transportation (not airfare); eight nights hotel; all breakfasts, several group lunches and dinners; and entrance fees to all group activities.
Cost is $3100.00 per person (double occupancy). $500 deposit per person. Tour limit of 30. 10-day Trip Itinerary:
Day 1 - Depart your gateway city for Frankfurt,
Germany (plan to arrive mid-morning Day 2)
Day 2 - Upon arriving (mid-morning) transfer to Adenau, Germany where we check into Hotel Blaue Ecke. Head to the track! That evening we will have a Welcome Dinner.
Day 3 - Travel to Stuttgart along the Moselle where we plan to stop at Berg Eltz and Castle Cochem. Check into Motel One City Center in Stuttgart
Day 4 - It’s all about Porsche. Tour the fabulous new Porsche Museum and get a factory tour.
Day 5 - Is a Sliver Arrow day as we visit Mercedes Benz Museum and tour one of their factories.
Day 6 - Travel to Munich and tour the BMW Museum, Welt, & Factory. Check into Arthotel Munich.
Day 7 - A free day for you to explore Munich.
Day 8 - Experience the opening day of Oktoberfest! See the opening parade and enjoy the festivities inside one of the Beer tents complete with German oompah band and of course a beer and some food.
Day 9 - Tour the Deutsches Verkehrszentrum.
Day 10 - Travel home from Munich.
