Citroёn: Icône française

Citroёn, whose innovative and iconoclastic cars have long been emblematic of the company’s home country of France, will take center stage in the California Automobile Museum’s new exhibit, Citroёn: Icône française, opening May 26, 2012.
Citroёns, especially the legendary Traction Avant, 2CV, and DS Models, have long been the go-to cars for artists, film directors, writers, and others wishing to immediately connect their work with global conceptions of French culture. Citroёn: Icône française will link these works to the cars to explore how the innovative engineering and ingenious marketing initiated by company founder André-Gustave Citroën built his legend.
