Big Day Of Giving Helps With Big Plans at the Auto Museum

GiveLocalNow, under the leadership of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, Placer Community Foundation, and Yolo Community Foundation, along with many partners, are gearing up for the region’s first BIG Day of Giving benefiting the region’s nonprofit sector, a 24-hour giving challenge, that will launch on May 6th  12:00am midnight to 11:59pm.

Donate $25 through our profile for a chance to win a trip for 2 around Old Sacramento in our 1931 Model A!

Exhibit iPads at the California Automobile Museum - Give Local Now What we really mean to say is that Give Local Now is THE Foundation for donating to your favorite nonprofit organization, a.k.a. the California Automobile Museum – obviously. If you have had a chance to visit our latest exhibits, you can definitely tell that we have been implementing new technologies as part of our tours. iPads, in particular, have made an increasing difference in our tours and give our visitors the opportunity to interact with our exhibits and learn further about the historical impact of the automobile and its influence on our lives.

By participating as a donor on May 6, Give Local Now will match your donations which will help us raise funds for our goal of $7,000 to invest in more iPads and their proper casings. The implementation of iPads will also allows us to collect statistical information that will benefit the growth of the Museum as we plan to make renovations and changes to our floor plans. A small donation of just $25 can help seed the Museum’s future plans for growth and to implement new technologies within our tours.

For more information about exhibits and technological advances, write us at info@calautomuseum.org.
